Post in HireUTexas to connect with all UT Austin graduate students, alumni and postdoctoral scholars for internship and full-time, part-time, on-campus employment, and postdoctoral fellowships or scholarships. You can also request events and on-campus interviews through this platform. Employer account and job posting approvals are based on our campus-wide Employer Recruiting Guidelines and Procedures.
Recruiting Guidelines & Procedures
Organizations and talent acquisition professionals who wish to engage with and make use of the assistance and/or facilities offered by the University of Texas at Austin must have an approved account in HireUTexas and must adhere to university and college-specific recruiting guidelines as well as applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

The Office of Career and Life Design serves all graduate students, postdocs, employers and campus partners with all-sector, interdisciplinary career development and campus-wide engagement. We take a skills-based approach to supporting employers and advanced degrees, rather than a discipline-specific approach, helping you find graduate talent pools within and beyond traditional degree programs.

Explore potential talent pipelines
Explore ways to engage with graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in initial low-commitment opportunities. These activities typically only require an hour or two of your time, but they still pack a punch. They allow organizations to explore potential talent pipelines, build brand awareness on campus and explore the expertise graduate students offer, all with minimal time or financial investment.
Networking Nights
Find your next intern, secure your next hire, and/or help graduate students explore new ways to use their skills and subject matter expertise. We have many networking opportunities throughout the year:
Quant Night: One of our most popular networking events! Connect with graduate students in quantitative fields. Share your career path, meet students from a range of fields, and help your employer get exposure to diverse, advanced degree talent.
Qualitative Research Night: Connect with graduate students in qualitative and mixed-methods research. Share your career path, meet students from a range of fields, and help your employer get exposure to diverse, advanced degree talent.
Arts and Humanities Night: Connect with graduate students in the arts and humanities. Share your career journey, connect with potential mentees and future recruits, and help graduate students build their networks and solidify their career plans.
