Yingen Lin is an M.S. student in Information Studies at the School of Information, serving as a Graduate Community Engagement Consultant. Passionate about Accessibility UX and digital transformation, she explores how to make complex information more understandable and accessible. Her academic work centers on strategies to improve user experiences across different industries, ensuring that technology serves people effectively.
She believes that OCLD offers incredible value that many students have yet to unlock. She is dedicated to using her background in information design to uncover these hidden gems and connect graduate students with the career and life design tools they need to thrive.
Outside of academia, Yingen is a self-proclaimed ultimate frisbee nerd and is always ready to try new sports. She is also interested in language learning; fluent in Mandarin and English, she welcomes anyone interested in a language exchange to reach out!
