Vanessa is in the final year of her PhD in the Department of Rhetoric and Writing, where her research explores how visual communication supports learning across digital and physical spaces. With experience in teaching, training and curriculum design in academic and nonprofit settings, she is now transitioning into corporate learning and development. She aims to apply her expertise to create scalable, accessible programs for professional learners. Vanessa holds a BA in English from California State University, Northridge and an MA in Rhetoric and Writing from UT Austin.
