PhD Candidate, Chemical Engineering
Sung Gyung is a 5th year PhD candidate in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering. Her research focuses on metabolic engineering and synthetic biology to rewire biology towards useful industrial applications. As a DTI intern, Sung Gyung aims to translate research conducted at UT Austin into real-world impact by helping commercialize, license and protect these technologies.
