Stacia Long

Dr. Stacia L. Long is a Senior Research Scientist at Gibson Consulting, specializing in qualitative research methods and literacy program evaluation. Her work in these areas recently received the Outstanding Publication Award from the American Educational Research Association’s Division H – Research, Evaluation and Assessment in Schools. With fifteen years of experience in education, Dr. Long has served as a classroom teacher, educational consultant, teacher educator and researcher. She has published in peer-reviewed journals focused on literacy and teacher education. Dr. Long earned her Ph.D. in Language and Literacy Education and a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Qualitative Studies from the University of Georgia.
