Marissa Jones (she/her) is a Rhetoric and Writing PhD student at UT-Austin. She researches the intersections of digital rhetoric, technical communication and political influencers, and how such influencers rhetorically subvert and disrupt online spaces. As a former secondary education teacher, Marissa seeks to bring active learning and differentiation to the forefront of teaching. She looks forward to bringing rhetorical thinking and her education experience to her role at the Graduate Office of Career and Life Design.
