Cultural Funding Supervisor

Jesús Pantel is the Cultural Funding Supervisor for the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division where he manages over $13 million for the Cultural Arts Funding Program. Jesús is familiar with both sides of arts funding, having worked as Grant Writer for Pittsburgh’s Squonk Opera. He has reviewed funding applications for Bromelkamp Company, National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures, the States of Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Texas, and the Cities of Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Jesús’ artistic background is in theatre and he has been involved in over 25 productions, in all capacities from stagehand to actor.
