Human Development and Family Sciences, Ph.D.
I’m a User Experience Researcher with a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences from UT Austin, where I studied how romantic couples’ dynamics influence stress, support and health behaviors. My academic foundation in dyadic research and longitudinal analysis informs my approach to understanding traveler behavior and designing user-centered experiences. Over the past five years at Expedia Group, I’ve led qualitative and mixed-method research that directly shaped product strategy and feature development. I specialize in usability testing, concept validation and foundational studies that uncover unmet traveler needs. I enjoy translating complex insights into clear narratives that influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Whether it’s building research programs from scratch or mentoring junior researchers, I’m passionate about making research actionable and impactful.
