Irene Kwon brings a blend of academic and industry experience to supporting graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in their professional and career development. With a background spanning data science, consulting and academic research, Irene combines expertise in advanced data analysis with a deep understanding of the graduate student experience. Prior to joining UT Austin, Irene worked with multiple Fortune 500 clients as a data scientist and consultant, providing data-driven insights to inform organizational practices and decision-making. Irene also supported professional development programming at Northwestern University. She is passionate about empowering students and postdocs to translate their skills across sectors, build confidence in their professional identities and navigate career paths aligned with their goals and values. Irene is currently completing a Ph.D. in Political Science (ABD) and an M.S. in Statistics at Northwestern University.
