The Office of Career & Life Design, The Graduate School
Hannah is a graduate media consultant at the Office of Career & Life Design, where she leads the Alumni at Work project, curating and editing video stories to support current graduate students. Passionate about teaching and mentorship, she is dedicated to using alumni narratives to help students navigate the challenges of graduate life and career development. Her love for teaching shapes her approach, ensuring that each story provides practical insights and guidance to inform and inspire future graduates.
Before moving to Austin to pursue her Ph.D. in Media Studies, Hannah spent four years working in an archive in London, honing her skills in media research and curation. Now in her fourth year as a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin, her research explores the intersection of medicine, cinema and visual culture, focusing on how medical cinema portrays the body and examining the role of the medical gaze in shaping cultural and institutional understandings of health, illness and bodily autonomy.
