Hailing Wang is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. She holds an M.S.Ed. in Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and Economics from Tufts University. Her research uses mixed-methods approaches to understand the nuanced ways in which youth and families as a whole navigate contextual and interpersonal stressors and processes of risk and resilience. Across her work, Hailing is particularly interested in translating research into meaningful, community-responsive solutions. She hopes to pursue a career where she can continue leveraging research to inform sustainable programs, practices, and policies that expand opportunities and resources for historically underserved communities.
