Gabriel Salinas is an Investment Manager in the Multi-Asset Strategies group at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. His work focuses on identifying, researching, and implementing systematic investment strategies across global equity, fixed income, currency, and commodity markets. He serves as a portfolio manager for TRS's Alternative Risk Premia portfolio and helps translate academic and practitioner research into scalable investment programs. Gabriel earned a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and joined TRS in 2017.
