PhD Candidate, Special Education
Emily Hardeman is a doctoral candidate in the department of Special Education at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research is in teacher knowledge of reading instruction across all grade levels and reading abilities. She also researches dysgraphia and the impact of dyslexia and dysgraphia across content areas. During her doctoral program at UT, Emily has worked on school based intervention research programs that support students with or at risk of reading disabilities. Before joining the doctoral program, she was a special education teacher and a CALT in public schools
