Daniel Molina Alarco is a doctoral researcher in the Iberian and Latin American Languages and Cultures Program in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a B.A. in Social Communication from the Universidad Santa María la Antigua and previously worked as an editor at La Estrella de Panamá. His journalism, research and communications work focuses on environmental conflict, memory, media and human rights in Latin America. He has also consulted for the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, collaborating with government, academic and international development partners.
As a Graduate Career Education Consultant (Liberal Arts) at GOCLD, Daniel draws on his experience creating accessible educational content and leading communications strategies to support career education resources and programming for graduate students. He is particularly interested in helping students translate the skills they develop through interdisciplinary work into compelling professional narratives and career opportunities.
