Connor Behrmann has worked professionally in opera houses and artist management for over a decade and is excited to be sharing his knowledge of the arts industry with graduate students at UT Austin.
He focuses on building relationships between employers and students in the community, and finds it extremely fulfilling to connect fellow artists and academics with the companies who are searching for their unique skillsets.
Originally from upper east Tennessee, Connor is pursuing a DMA in opera performance from the UT Austin Butler School of Music and a Graduate Portfolio in arts and cultural management and entrepreneurship from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. His research focuses on the impacts of public policy on artistic output and the digital creative economy. Connor received his M.M. in voice performance from the University of Florida and his B.M. in voice performance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
