Cindy Blanco, Ph.D.

Cindy Blanco received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from UT-Austin in 2016. She is currently working as a senior learning scientist at Duolingo, where she collaborates with engineers, designers, and product managers to develop effective language-teaching tools based on research. She also works closely with the public relations team to communicate language science and research to a broad audience through blogs, language reports, and the media.
