Charles Joukhadar received his Master’s in Arabic Studies from UT–Austin in 2009 and his Ph.D. in Middle Eastern and North African Studies from the University of Arizona in 2020. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Arabic at the University of Mississippi (UM), where he teaches and conducts research in Arabic linguistics and the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language.
