Bharathwaj Sankaran, Ph.D.

Bharathwaj Sankaran received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (CEPM Specialization) from UT-Austin in 2017. He is currently working as a Lead Consultant at Advisory Services Division of WSP USA, where he primarily focuses on infrastructure project planning and development, project portfolio evaluation and prioritization, project financing, and data analytics. He has worked with tolling authorities and State DOTs across the country in projects related to net revenue estimation for highway toll facilities, benefit-cost analysis for transportation infrastructure projects, pricing and policy studies, traffic safety studies, and applied research on emerging technologies. A data science enthusiast, he has worked with several programming languages, statistical software, and BI tools to support data-driven decision-making in several tasks in his line of work for transportation agencies.
