This workshop covers the fundamental workflow of identifying and accessing sources of geospatial data that can be used in research.Participants will learn strategies for finding and importing geospatial data, then explore techniques for analyzing and visualizing those data using GIS software.

This workshop by the UT Libraries Research Data Services team will provide an introduction to using SQL (Structured Query Language) to store and manage data in open source relational databases like MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
