This interactive workshop uses improvisation-based tools and structured games to help researchers communicate their work with greater clarity, confidence and impact in real time. Participants will practice responding to their environment, adapting explanations for different audiences and staying present when conversations do not go as planned.
Emphasizing listening, adaptability and clarity rather than performance or being funny, the workshop offers practical techniques that can be applied to research talks, Q and A sessions, interdisciplinary conversations and everyday professional interactions. The session will be engaging and fun, and participants should expect to laugh along the way. No prior improv experience required.
