Developed in collaboration with the Graduate Office of Career and Life Design and Humanities Institute, The Resilient Humanities PhD: Scholarly Formation for the 21st Century is a convening of faculty leaders, graduate students, and administrators focused on strengthening the future of humanities doctoral education. The program brings together nationally recognized scholars, institutional and scholarly society leaders to articulate principled and practical approaches to sustaining the integrity, visibility, and vitality of the humanities in a rapidly changing higher-education landscape.

hustles for humanists

This interactive session, Hustles for Humanists: A Half Day Seminar to Find or Create Meaningful Work, offers a framework, reflection exercises, and actionable strategies to translate your strengths to new professional contexts, communicate your value and make your career work for you. We’ll deconstruct three myths that hold emerging scholars back from thinking expansively about their options and work together to identify, refine, and communicate what you have to offer – right now.

See the symposium agenda, learn more about the speakers, and RSVP. This event is open to graduate students only.
