This workshop is by the UT Libraries Research Data Services team.

Researchers are increasingly under pressure to publish data at the conclusion of their funding cycle, when the research findings are published, due to funder requirements. However, simply sharing data does not ensure reproducibility - data need to be properly described and packaged to be accessed and re-used by others. In this session, we will share best practices for publishing open data. We will: Walk through a documentation template; Talk about file formats & codebooks; and Identify what is and is not a proper repository.
